[April 12, 2008]  MINIER -- The community survey results are back and it is time for Minier to plan its future. The University of Illinois Extension Department of Human and Community Development conducted and compiled survey results for the Minier Economic Development Council. The resulting 27-page research examines all aspects of living and doing business in Minier.

The Minier Economic Development Council is inviting people who are interested to join in the next step in the community planning process. There will be an informational meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Alpine Village. The purpose is to inform everyone of the mission, goals, accomplishments and activities of the organization, as well as finding places for those who wish to "plug in."

Citizens are asked to attend and bring a guest or two. You can RSVP to Brad Glenn at brad.glenn@verizon.net.

(See the survey results in PDF format.)
