Agriculture Futures Fall on CBOT

[April 12, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dropped 26.5 cents to $8.965 a bushel; May corn lost 10 cents to $5.8425 a bushel; May oats slipped 2.25 cents to $3.85 a bushel; May soybeans declined 23.5 cents to $13.325 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle added 0.23 cent to 88.70 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.38 cent to 99.50 a pound; April lean hogs lost 0.22 cent to 58.95 cents a pound; May pork bellies gained 3 cents to 74.37 cents a pound.
