Gala to Benefit UCP Land of Lincoln's Children's Services

[April 14, 2008]  SPRINGFIELD -- On Saturday from 6:30 until 11 p.m., the Hilton Springfield will host the 28th annual Blue Chip Gala benefiting United Cerebral Palsy Land of Lincoln. The evening will feature hors d'oeuvres, live and silent auctions, and casino gaming. The Rock of Ages band will provide entertainment.

The Blue Chip Gala is the largest, most elegant and longest-running charity event of its kind in Springfield. The silent and live auctions always offer a variety of items, from big to small and in every price range.

Tickets to the event are $100. All proceeds from this event will benefit UCP's children's services. For ticket information or table sponsorship, please contact René Fein at 217-525-6522.

United Cerebral Palsy Land of Lincoln serves 27 counties in central Illinois, providing services to over 1,000 individuals who have various disabilities and their families. Services include therapies, job training and placement, assistive technology, summer camps, residential support, day services, respite, case management, and advocacy.
