tremors registered since Friday, ranging 2.7 to 4.0 magnitude

Concern for infrastructure is
mounting since the first earthquake with its epicenter in southeast
Illinois shook early Friday morning. The first quake, which measured
the highest at 5.2 on the Richter scale, has been followed by eight
more shocks, continuing as recently as just past midnight this
morning. The smaller quakes have ranged from 2.5 magnitude to this
morning's 4.0.
