Since the May class filled quickly, the Minier-Armington Police
Department, First Farmers State Bank of Minier, RSVP and AARP will
host an additional senior safe driving course. This is a refresher
course in safe driving techniques for people 50 years old and over.
The class will meet June 17 and 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at
the Minier Village Hall, 110 W. Central. Attendance both days is
			required.
Learn defensive driving, new traffic laws and how to adjust your
driving to changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
There is no test to take, and most insurance companies will
provide a multiyear discount to graduates of this course. There is
no fee, as the class will be sponsored by the bank and the police
			department.
To reserve your space, call Amy Crump at the First Farmers State
Bank in Minier, 309-392-2623. A maximum of 30 people will be
			allowed, so preregistrations are necessary.
