Agriculture futures mostly fall on CBOT; livestock gains

[April 25, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures closed mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 8.5 cents to $8.0925 a bushel; May corn lost 11.5 cents to $5.7625 a bushel; May oats gained 2 cents to $3.765 a bushel; May soybeans declined 23.25 cents to $13.4875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle added 0.55 cent to 92.25 cents a pound; April cattle gained 0.05 cent to $1.018 a pound; May lean hogs rose 0.40 cent to 74.65 cents a pound; May pork bellies added 2.5 cents to 77.6 cents a pound.
