Asperger Syndrome Support & Awareness has two meeting sites in central Illinois

[April 26, 2008]  SPRINGFIELD -- Asperger Syndrome Support & Awareness of Central Illinois welcomes you to the next support meeting in Springfield or Galesburg.

In Galesburg:

Monday, April 28, 7 p.m. -- Sandburg Mall, Community Room

Meetings are the fourth Monday of the month, excluding December, June, July and August.

In Springfield:

Thursday, May 1, 7-9 p.m. -- University of Illinois at Springfield, VPA Building, Room 153

Meetings are the first Thursday of the month, excluding January, June, July and August.

Springfield support meetings are facilitated by Karen Kirkendall, Ph.D., who specializes in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology and developmental disabilities

Directions to UIS meeting place: The parking is very close to the entrance. Enter at Lot A, at the east side of the university. Pull into the parking lot and take a sharp turn to your right; then drive forward until you reach the metal buildings; then take a left and park at the west end of the parking lot. There is a pathway and the meeting room is in the first building on the right. (Map of university)
