Agriculture futures trade mostly lower on CBOT

[August 01, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 3.75 cents to $7.915 a bushel but December corn fell 5.75 cents to $6.155 a bushel; December oats lost 0.5 cent to $4.04 a bushel; November soybeans declined 10 cents to $13.95 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.18 cent to 98.05 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.43 cent to $1.1295 a pound; August lean hogs added 0.78 cent to 79.65 cents a pound; August pork bellies gained 0.7 cent to 70.7 cents a pound.
