Agriculture futures trade sharply lower on CBOT

[August 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Auto RepairWheat for September delivery fell 35.25 cents to $7.5875 a bushel; December corn lost 29.5 cents to $5.555 a bushel; December oats fell 9.5 cents to $3.78 a bushel; November soybeans declined 70 cents to $12.95 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.0017 cents a pound; August cattle fell 0.2 cent to $1.1542 a pound; August lean hogs added 0.68 cent to 82.25 cents a pound; August pork bellies gained 2.9 cents to 68.4 cents a pound.
