Lincoln Police Department reports for Tuesday, Aug. 5
  • Bale, Cory J., 20-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Aug. 4 on Pekin Street at Kickapoo Street; Illinois Vehicle Code -- no operation under foreign license during suspension or revocation

Vehicle damage on July 31 between 6 and 10 p.m.; 1408 Short 11th St., Lincoln

--Michael D. Coers, male, 32; 2003 Dodge Ram

Coers stated on that on July 31 between 6 and 10 p.m. his truck was struck while parked in the parking lot of the Logan County Fair. Coers stated that he did not see the damage until the next morning. The truck received moderate damage to the area in front of the driver's-side rear fender.

Vehicle damage on July 31 at 8 p.m.; 1408 Short 11th St., Lincoln

--Christopher N. Bernhardt, male, 16, of Mason City; 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse

While Bernhardt's vehicle was parked at the Logan County Fair, it was struck on the driver's-side rear fender by an unknown vehicle.

Vehicle damage on Aug. 1 at 7:47 p.m.; on Postville Drive, 400 feet south of Woodlawn Road

--Barbara E. Baustian, female, 62, of Plainfield; 2002 Jeep Wrangler

Baustian stated that she tried to park alongside the road on Postville Drive. Baustian backed into a drainage ditch, causing the vehicle to turn over on its side. The Jeep received light damage on the passenger side.

Crash on Aug. 3 at 7:13 p.m.; at the intersection of Keokuk Street and Hamilton Street

--Charles N. Jordan, male, 34, of Lincoln; 1975 Chevrolet Silverado

--Kelsey R. Anderson, female, 17, of Beason; 2002 Ford Explorer

Jordan was traveling north on Hamilton Street while Anderson was traveling west on Keokuk Street. Jordan stated that his brakes were not functioning properly as he came to the intersection, causing a collision with Anderson. Jordan's vehicle received moderate damage to the passenger-side rear fender. Anderson's vehicle received major damage to the front of the vehicle.

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Tuesday, Aug. 5

  • Cook, Charles, 54-year-old male, Decatur; arrested Aug. 4 at Macon County Jail; driving under the influence, driving under the influence over .08, failure to appear

  • Neaville, Benjamin O., 22-year-old male, Mount Pulaski; arrested Aug. 4 on 300 Street about half a mile east of 2200 Avenue; Class A -- possessing cannabis more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams

  • Bicknell, Brian K., 44-year-old male, San Jose; arrested Aug. 4 at 110 E. Main in San Jose; disorderly conduct
