- Polanco, Jason L., 25-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Aug.
6 at Centennial Courts; Class C misdemeanor -- breach of peace

Crash on Aug. 1 at 2:21 p.m.; Woodlawn Road, 50 feet east of
Oglesby Avenue, Lincoln
--Frances I. Mason, female, 86, of Lincoln; 2005 Chevrolet Aveo
--Jerry D. Birdwell, male, 56, of Lincoln; 1985 Chevrolet

Occupants with Birdwell stated they were stopped in traffic
waiting for the vehicle in front of them to turn, when they were
struck in the rear of the vehicle by Mason. Mason stated she just
could not get stopped in time to avoid striking Birdwell. The rear
seat passenger with Birdwell was taken to the hospital with
complaints of lower back pain. There was minimal damage to the rear
of Birdwell's vehicle and virtually no damage to the front of
Mason's vehicle.
