Agriculture futures close trading higher on CBOT

[August 08, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

CivicWheat for September delivery rose 56.5 cents to $8.2225 a bushel; December corn gained 14.25 cents to $5.42 a bushel; December oats added 3.25 cents to $3.7925 a bushel; November soybeans rose 17 cents to $12.39 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.9 cent to $1.0145 a pound; August cattle lost 1.43 cents to $1.1407 a pound; August lean hogs added 1.57 cents to 85.97 cents a pound; August pork bellies slipped 1.65 cents to 62.25 cents a pound.
