Agriculture futures close trading lower on CBOT

[August 09, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures finished lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Auto RepairWheat for September delivery dropped 57 cents to settle at $7.6525 a bushel; December corn fell 23.75 cents to settle at $5.1825; December oats fell 4 cents to $3.7525; and November soybeans fell 58.5 cents to end at $11.805 a bushel.

Beef futures ended lower and pork futures finished higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.02 cent to $1.0147 a pound; August cattle rose 0.55 cents to $1.1462 a pound; August lean hogs added 3.00 cents to 88.97 cents a pound; August pork bellies rose 3.00 cents to 65.25 cents a pound.
