Agriculture futures close trading mixed on CBOT

[August 12, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures finished mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 28.5 cents to end at $7.9375 a bushel; December corn dipped 1.25 cents to close at $5.17 a bushel; December oats rose 0.25 cent to finish at $3.755 a bushel; and November soybeans rose 15.5 cents to end at $11.96 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures finished higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.83 cent to $1.0230 a pound; August cattle advanced 0.35 cents to $1.1497 a pound; August lean hogs added 1.00 cent to 89.97 cents a pound; August pork bellies gained 3.00 cents to 68.25 cents a pound.
