Crash on Aug. 12 at 3:58 p.m.; intersection of Keokuk Street and
Chicago Street
--Walter F. Milligan, male, 47, of East Peoria; 2000 Ford F250
--Andrea L. Strong, female, 20, of Lincoln; 2000 Dodge Neon
Milligan was traveling west on Keokuk Street while Strong was
stopped in traffic to make a left turn onto Chicago Street. Milligan
stated he did not see Strong until the last second. Milligan
attempted to avoid hitting Strong, but could not. Milligan's vehicle
received moderate damage to the front passenger-side fender. Strong
received moderate damage to the rear driver's-side fender.
