Lucile Cooper

[August 11, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Lucile Leimbach Cooper, 92, of Mount Pulaski, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at 2:35 p.m. at Christian Village Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski, with Pastor Mark Drews officiating.

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, rural Beason.

Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and secretary-treasurer of Cooper Farm Inc.

She was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Beason to George and Alvina Danner Leimbach Roos. She married Leo Vernon Cooper on Aug. 7, 1937. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 2002.

She is survived by two daughters, Pat (and John) Grathwohl of Mount Pulaski and Kay (and Larry) Cyrulik of Mount Pulaski; one son, Gary (and Pam) Cooper of Lincoln; a daughter-in-law, Judy Cooper of Mount Pulaski; one sister, Mary Ruwe of Mount Pulaski; one brother, Charles (and Louise) Roos of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Lee Cooper, and one great-grandson.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.
