Agriculture futures rise on CBOT; livestock mixed

[August 14, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for September delivery rose 60 cents to $8.7525 a bushel; December corn added 30 cents to $5.585 a bushel; December oats rose 14.5 cents to $3.91 a bushel; November soybeans gained 70 cents to $12.84 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.4 cent to $1.0317 a pound; August cattle fell 1.1 cents to $1.1405 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.28 cent to 88.22 cents a pound; August pork bellies rose 4.5 cents to 77.25 cents a pound.
