 "We are very excited to have Steve 'The Harp' Blues Band confirmed
for our Saturday evening celebration," said David Lanterman, Main
Street Lincoln's event planner. This group has played several times
at the House of Blues in Chicago and will perform from 7 to 9:30
p.m. Aug. 23.Main Street Lincoln is also adding Sunday afternoon
entertainment with David Bertchtold on the acoustical guitar from 1
to 4 p.m.
The Art of Wine tent, sponsored by State Bank of Lincoln, is open
to the public. This will be the sixth annual wine tasting event,
with eight Illinois wineries represented, including two new vendors
that will be featuring their special wines.
The Art of Wine will be open on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 11:30 a.m.
until 10 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 24, from 11:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The Art of Wine tent will be located in the 100 block of South
Kickapoo Street.
