"As state representative I feel it is my
responsibility to be proactive in protecting senior citizens from
identity theft," Mitchell said. "Identity theft is the fastest
growing crime in America, with senior citizens being the number one
target. By holding this workshop, we hopefully will be able to
prevent senior citizens in Lincoln from being the next victim."
The "Identity Theft and Scams" workshop runs 10-11
a.m. Thursday at Lincoln Christian College, 100 Campus View Drive,
Restoration Hall, Room R49. To make your reservation to attend, call
Mitchell's office at 217-876-1968.
