Agriculture futures end trading higher on CBOT

[August 22, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for September delivery rose 22.5 cents to $8.9725 a bushel; December corn gained 22.5 cents to $6.175 a bushel; December oats added 8.5 cents to $3.96 a bushel; November soybeans gained 48 cents to $13.48 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.75 cent to $1.0145 a pound; August cattle fell 0.25 cent to $1.1282 a pound; October lean hogs fell 0.33 cent to 74.77 cents a pound; February pork bellies slipped 0.68 cent to 98.57 cents a pound.
