Even without a balloon launch,
it still turned into a grand evening out at the Logan County Airport.
Young, old, families, workers and volunteers enjoyed the spectacular
weather. Nearly everyone grabbed some of the great food and drink
offerings; some went for a helicopter or airplane ride or some other
adventurous ride; some visited with friends; and others just lounged,
waiting for the evening glow. Looking at some of the younger faces,
ice cream was a favorite for the evening. At last, Mother Nature
filled in for the number of balloons that were unable to glow due to
winds being too high.
