[August 28, 2008]  Lincoln Christian College and Seminary announces that Violeta "Villy" Cone has taken the position of coordinator for its Office of International Students. This is a fellowship position that is part of a pilot program to "tithe our school to the nations." The office is located in the south end of the Timothy Center for Global Ministry on the school's Lincoln campus.

HardwareCone is herself an international student from Bulgaria. Starting this fall she is pursuing a master's degree in counseling at the seminary. She will be the third person in the new pilot program for internationals, along with Renee Zhu from China and Rode Gaona from Mexico. Cone will be working with them and several others on campus who have expressed an interest in ministering to the international students, who last year numbered more than 30.

Cone already has a master's degree from the University of Sofia in Bulgaria, speaks several languages and is an experienced professional who has worked in the area of health care in Europe, with a focus on HIV/AIDS prevention. She understands international student issues and brings significant professional managerial experience to this role.

LCCS is delighted that she will be serving in this ministry.
