Agriculture futures mostly lower on the CBOT

[December 02, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

CivicWheat for December delivery slid 32.75 cents to $5.0975 a bushel; December corn lost 16.75 cents to $3.3275 a bushel; December oats rose 0.5 cent to $2.02 a bushel; and January soybeans fell 37 cents to $8.46 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle lost 1.92 cents to 85.45 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 2.08 cents to 89.62 cents a pound; December lean hogs slipped 0.78 cent to 58.72 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 0.1 cent to 92.22 cents a pound.
