[December 02, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- One of the victims of the terrorist attacks in India was a Chicago resident who worked for a company that provides radiation therapy for cancer patients.

InsuranceA spokeswoman for the company said Monday that Sandeep "Sam" Jeswani was traveling in Mumbai on business when he was killed.

Donna Schulz of Wisconsin-based TomoTherapy Inc. says the 43-year-old was born in India. She says she believes he moved to the United States when he was about 12.

Jeswani was among at least 170 people killed in Friday's attacks.

The State Department confirms that six Americans were killed and two were injured. It hasn't released their names.
