Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[December 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were lower on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for March delivery dropped 33.75 cents to $4.86 a bushel; March corn fell 14.25 cents to $3.34 a bushel; March oats lost 7.5 cents to $2.135 a bushel; and January soybeans fell 19 cents to $8.11 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 1 cent to 83.07 cents a pound; January feeder cattle lost 0.25 cent to 88.1 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.72 cent to 63.65 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were 0.9 cent lower at 91.1 cents a pound.
