[December 08, 2008]  The following recalls were issued by various federal and state agencies during the week ending Dec. 6: 

HardwareHOCKEY HELMETS 

Reebok-CCM Hockey U.S. Inc. is recalling Hockey Helmets sold nationwide from May 2008 to July 2008. The helmet's chinstrap can unexpectedly disengage while in use. If this happens, the helmet can fall off, posing a head and neck injury risk. 

This recall involves RBK and CCM brand hockey helmets. Helmets included in this recall have a HECC sticker with date code JUN – 2013. HECC stickers and model numbers are located on the back of the helmets. A complete list of the model numbers can be found at www.recalls.org

Consumers should return the helmets to the place of purchase for a free replacement helmet.

DOLL CLOTHING 

Manhattan Group is recalling Groovy Fashions™ Sassy Jammies™ Doll Clothing Sets sold nationwide from January 2008 to October 2008. Surface paints on the pajama pants contain excessive levels of lead. 

The recalled doll clothing set features a two-piece pajama set, eye mask and slippers. The pajama top is pink satin and the pants are dark brown with multiple-colored flowers printed on them. 

Consumers should return the clothing to the store where purchased for a full refund or store credit.

TOY ARMY FIGURES 

OKK Trading is recalling Toy Army Figures sold nationwide from June 2008 to September 2008. Surface paint on the face of the Army figures contains excessive levels of lead. 

The recall involves 7˝ inch tall plastic toy Army figures. The figures are dressed in Army fatigues and have guns.

GIRLS' HAT AND MITTEN SETS 

Meijer Inc. is recalling Toddler Girl's Hat and Mitten Sets sold in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky from August 2008 to October 2008. The magnets in the hat can detach and fall out, posing a choking and aspiration. 

The recalled hats and mittens have two magnets sewn into each side of the hat and are cotton with pink, lavender, orange and aqua green stripes and various prints. Some of the hat and mittens have dark pink hearts with light pink stripes. "Aquarius LTD" is printed on the tag of the hat and mitten sets. 

Consumers should return the sets to Meijer store for a refund.
