Agriculture futures trade higher on the CBOT

[December 09, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for March delivery gained 15 cents to $4.905 a bushel; March corn rose 20.75 cents to $3.30 a bushel; March oats advanced 9 cents to $2.08 a bushel; and January soybeans jumped 37 cents to $8.205 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher while pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.22 cents to 82.67 cents a pound; January feeder cattle inched up 1.25 cents to 87.9 cents a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.08 cent to 64.12 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were 0.85 cent lower at 89.45 cents a pound.
