Agriculture futures mixed on the CBOT

[December 13, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery gained 5.5 cents to $5.13 a bushel; March corn advanced 22 cents to $3.735 a bushel; March oats rose 4 cents to $2.135 a bushel; and January soybeans fell 2.5 cents to $8.54 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 1.02 cents to 82.8 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.43 cent to 87.17 cents a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.1 cent to 62.27 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.22 cents to 81.2 cents a pound.
