Morning weather advisory

[December 15, 2008]  Weather caution: Patchy light snow or flurries are possible this morning.

Little or no additional snow accumulation is expected. Motorists and pedestrians should remain alert for slippery roads and sidewalks due to the freezing rain, sleet and snow that fell overnight. Also, gusty northwest winds will keep wind chill values below zero at times this morning.

As of 7:15 a.m. main thoroughfares in Lincoln still had intermittent patches of snow and ice. 

 

There were no school closings or other closings reported as of 7:15 this morning (Monday).
