Winter weather advisory remains in effect until midnight CST tonight.

A winter weather advisory for snow & light icing remains in effect until midnight CST tonight.

A mixture of light snow & freezing drizzle will continue this evening over much of central il. Any additional snow accumulations should be minor. However the freezing drizzle will continue to cause slick roads due to the combination of ice and
accumulated snow. The precipitation will be tapering off late this evening.

A winter weather advisory that periods of snow & freezing drizzle will cause primarily travel difficulties this evening. Be prepared for snow & ice covered roads and limited visibilities.& use caution while driving.
