Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 18, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

DonutsWheat for March delivery gained 13.5 cents to $5.575 a bushel; March corn lost 4.5 cents to $3.895 a bushel; March oats fell 4 cents to $2.22 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 5.5 cents to $8.64 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.07 cent to 86.87 cents a pound; January feeder cattle advanced 2.33 cents to 93.45 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.17 cent to 62.62 cents a pound; and February pork bellies gained 3 cents to 86.97 cents a pound.
