Agriculture futures trade mostly higher on CBOT

[December 19, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery jumped 14 cents to $5.715 a bushel; March corn was unchanged at $3.895 a bushel; March oats were flat at $2.22 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 5.5 cents to $8.695 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 1.17 cents to 85.7 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell 1.2 cents to 91.77 cents a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.15 cent to 62.47 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 2 cents to 88.97 cents a pound.
