Agriculture futures trade higher on the CBOT

[December 20, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery dropped 8.25 cents to $5.6325 a bushel; March corn lost 8.75 cents to $3.8075 a bushel; March oats fell 3 cents to $2.19 a bushel; and January soybeans slipped 1.25 cents to $8.6825 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.07 cents to 86.77 cents a pound; March feeder cattle gained 1.45 cents to 93.22 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.77 cent to 61.7 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 0.53 cent to 89.5 cents a pound.
