Agriculture futures trade mostly higher on CBOT

[December 23, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 5.75 cents to $5.69 a bushel; March corn advanced 1 cent to $3.8175 a bushel; March oats were flat at $2.19 a bushel; and January soybeans jumped 18.25 cents to $8.865 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle lost 0.52 cent to 86.25 cents a pound; March feeder cattle slipped 0.3 cent to 92.92 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.8 cent to 60.9 cents a pound; and February pork bellies gained 2.2 cents to 91.7 cents a pound.
