Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 24, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery advanced 6.25 cents to $5.7525 a bushel; March corn jumped 13 cents to $3.9475 a bushel; March oats lost 4 cents to $2.15 a bushel; and March soybeans jumped 14.5 cents to $9.05 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle gained 0.7 cent to 86.95 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.45 cent to 93.37 cents a pound; February lean hogs advanced 0.3 cent to 61.2 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 3 cents to 88.7 cents a pound.
