Agriculture futures mixed on the CBOT

[December 31, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

CivicWheat for March delivery rose 12.75 cents to $6.0475 a bushel; March corn gained 2.75 cents to $3.9625 a bushel; March oats lost 7 cents to $2.10 a bushel; and March soybeans advanced 7.5 cents to $9.53 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.3 cent to 85.9 cents a pound; March feeder cattle inched up 0.97 cent to 93.82 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.57 cent to 59.72 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 2.23 cents to 85.22 cents a pound.
