Dear Editor: Many in Logan County are stating they want change and
want to see a brighter future, yet the Logan Farm Bureau promotes
Tim Huyett for state's attorney -- wow.
Has the truth been covered so well that Logan County is so blind
that it cannot see right or wrong and see how he has operated with a
cloud of suspicion? Even our children who attend public schools in
Logan County know who the druggies are in the schools, but very
little has been done about drugs and alcohol in our county. The sex
scandals of Nick Burgrabe were public knowledge for more than 10
years, and while he harassed women outside the courtroom, he
harassed many women in the courtroom, too; but very little has ever
been done to see justice over this issue, and yet Burgrabe still is
allowed to practice, when he has broken many laws of professional
ethics.

In my opinion, Logan County deserves much better, and we should
support someone who is willing to fight for the people of Logan
County and bring God and good values back into our community. We got
rid of Judge Behle; now it's time to clean another room in the
courthouse and work toward getting back law and order and justice in
our community that has been absent for so very long.
I wholeheartedly support Mike McIntosh for state's attorney.
Respectfully submitted,
Donna K. (Apel) Bishop
