Governor's Statement on Tinley Park Shooting

[February 04, 2008]  CHICAGO -- The following statement from Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich was released Saturday after the deadly shooting at Brookside Marketplace Shopping Center in Tinley Park:

"There is no imaginable justification for the deadly and random violence that stole those innocent lives in Tinley Park today. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims and the many people who witnessed the tragedy. The state of Illinois stands ready to assist Tinley Park law enforcement in any way they need."
