Asperger Syndrome Support Meets Thursday

[February 05, 2008]  SPRINGFIELD -- Asperger Syndrome Support and Awareness of Central Illinois will meet on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the University of Illinois in Springfield.

The support group deals with autism spectrum disorders.

Springfield meetings are facilitated by Karen Kirkendall, Ph.D., who has a specialty in developmental disorders and is associate professor of psychology at UIS.

Directions: Parking is very close to the entrance. Enter at Parking Lot A, on the east side of the university. Pull into the parking lot and take a sharp turn to your right. Then drive forward until you reach the metal buildings. Then take a left and park at the west end of the parking lot. Use the pathway to the first building on the right, the VPA Building. The meeting is in Room 152.
