Agriculture Futures Rise on CBOT

[February 05, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 30 cents to $9.73 a bushel; March corn added 10 cents to $5.105 a bushel; March oats added 12.5 cents to $3.355 a bushel; March soybeans rose 38.75 cents to $13.26 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle gained 0.30 cent to 90.52 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.70 cent to $1.0475 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.10 cent to 59.77 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.65 cents to 92.20 cents a pound.
