Chestnut Fire and EMS Ham and Bean Dinner

[February 08, 2008]  CHESTNUT -- The Chestnut Fire and Emergency Medical Services is hosting a ham and bean dinner on Feb. 10, from noon to 6:30 p.m., at the Chestnut Family Restaurant. The menu consists of ham and beans, corn bread, dessert, and drink.

The cost is open donations. The proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund the Chestnut Fire Department's 50th anniversary celebration, scheduled for June 21.

Also, the Chestnut Fire and EMS is seeking photos, past and present, of the fire department's last 50 years. These could be trainings, community events or actual calls where the Chestnut Fire Department is pictured. Your photos will be returned.
