Clinton Lake and Small Streams Recede; Logan County Flood Warnings Canceled

[February 08, 2008]  The small stream flood advisory for eastern Logan and southwestern DeWitt counties expired at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

Officials reported that levels at Clinton Lake are slowly falling. The threat for additional flooding downstream has ended. Therefore, the flood advisory was allowed to expire.

The flood warning for Logan County expired at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.

Excessive runoff from heavy rain has ended over the area. Streams and creeks in the area have receded or are beginning to recede, ending the threat for additional flooding.
