[February 12, 2008]  WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) -- For this woman, the crown is in the bag. After working at Macey's, a Utah grocery chain, for more than two years, Erika Jensen has been recognized as the country's best bagger.

Jensen was judged on speed, weight distribution, dress and appearance last week at the National Grocers Association International Best Bagger Competition in Las Vegas.

She first beat a group of U.S. baggers, then out-packed Gord Groves of Canada.

The skill runs in the family: Jensen's older sister, Emily, won the competition three years ago. The 2007 champion, Brian Bay, also worked at Macey's.

Jensen received two trophies and a check for $2,000.
