[February 16, 2008]  Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital is hosting a free seminar, "Listen to Your Heart: Learning the Signs & Symptoms of a Heart Attack." The presentation is at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the hospital's Lincoln Conference Room.

David Miller, R.N., of the emergency department, will discuss the signs of a heart attack and how they differ in men and women. Joan Behle, R.N., will take blood pressures.

There is no cost to attend. Registration is not necessary and walk-ins are always welcome.

A heart attack occurs about every 20 seconds in the United States, with a heart attack death about every minute. Fast action can save lives when every second counts.
