[February 16, 2008]  PESOTUM -- The Illinois State Police agency continues to investigate the death of two men who were shot Jan. 28 in Chrisman. The victims, Mark E. Prasse and Ryan J. Riddell, were killed in Prasse’s home. Friends and local business owners have established a fund in the amount of $25,000 to serve as reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the shooting.

A local tip line has been established to provide information. The number is 217-278-5004, and the line will be available 24 hours a day. Callers are advised that they may leave an anonymous message or may leave their name and phone number to be contacted by an investigator.

Capt. Jill Rizzs, Illinois State Police Zone 5 investigation commander, stated, "Many times a reward may serve as an added incentive to encourage people to come forward with information."
