PESOTUM -- The Illinois State
Police agency continues to investigate the death of two men who were
shot Jan. 28 in Chrisman. The victims, Mark E. Prasse and Ryan J.
Riddell, were killed in Prasse’s home. Friends and local business
owners have established a fund in the amount of $25,000 to serve as
reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of
the person or people responsible for the shooting.

A local tip line has been established to provide information. The
number is 217-278-5004, and the line will be available 24 hours a
day. Callers are advised that they may leave an anonymous message or
may leave their name and phone number to be contacted by an
investigator. Capt. Jill Rizzs, Illinois State Police Zone 5
investigation commander, stated, "Many times a reward may serve as
an added incentive to encourage people to come forward with
information."
