'Noteworthy' Upcoming Events

Rehearsals Begin Thursday

[February 20, 2008]  MASON CITY -- Please mark your calendars now, for Mason City's Community Choir, "Noteworthy," has several upcoming events that you just won't want to miss.

First of all, the choir will be singing at the union Good Friday service. It will be at 7 p.m. March 21 at the First Christian Church in Mason City.

Their next appearance will be to open for the Ivan Parker concert at the Arlee Theater in Mason City on March 30. The choir will perform at 1:30, and Ivan Parker will start promptly at 2 p.m. Get your tickets now by calling the Arlee at 482-9999.

And finally, the date we have been waiting for -- April 19, when the Noteworthy choir will perform at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield. The performance is at 1 p.m., so come down to hear us and visit one of the premier landmarks in the state.

And now -- there has to be a lot of rehearsal to be the best we can be. The next six rehearsals will be on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the Mason City United Methodist Church. Please note this change. The dates for rehearsals are Feb. 21, March 6, March 13, March 27, April 10 and April 17.

Everyone is welcome, so please come and bring your friends. Become "Noteworthy" for fun, fellowship and the love of music.
