Agriculture Prices Rise on CBOT

[February 22, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 12 cents to $10.455 a bushel; March corn added 1 cent to $5.245 a bushel; March oats gained 8.75 cents to $3.8375 a bushel; May soybeans advanced 7.75 cents to $14.2475 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.15 cent to 91.92 cents a pound; March feeder cattle dropped 0.58 cent to $1.0507 a pound; April lean hogs slipped 1.07 cents to 64 cents a pound; March pork bellies lost 0.77 cent to 93.50 cents a pound.
