for the counties of Fulton, Schuyler, Mason, Logan, Cass, Menard,
Scott, Morgan, Sangamon, including the cities of Havana, Lincoln,
Jacksonville and Springfield. The snow is expected to diminish by
noon Tuesday, with between 2 and 4 inches of accumulation. North to
northwest wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will cause blowing and drifting
snow. A snow and blowing snow advisory means that visibilities
will be limited due to a combination of falling and blowing snow.
Use caution when traveling, especially in open areas.

Vermilion, Douglas and Edgar, including the cities of Bloomington,
Normal, Champaign, Urbana and Danville. Rain changed
to heavy, wet snow Monday night as winds from the northeast brought
colder air into the area. The snow is expected to diminish by early
Tuesday afternoon, with 4 to 6 inches of accumulation. North to
northwest wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will cause blowing and drifting
snow with reduced visibilities. A winter storm
warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice are
expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will
