The Lincoln College Theatre Department is
presenting a spring production this weekend.
"The Sweetest Swing in Baseball," written by Rebecca Gilman, is a
drama that opens with a successful artist, Dana Fielding, who
experiences a disastrous gallery showing. With her personal life in
shambles, the artist finds safety in a psychiatric hospital, and
unfortunately her insurance company will only pay for 10 days. In
desperate need of a more hospital-worthy illness, Dana pretends to
believe she is former baseball player Darryl Strawberry.
