Agricultural Futures Rise on CBOT

[January 04, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agricultural futures traded higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 30 cents to $9.45 a bushel; March corn added 3.5 cents to $4.66 a bushel; March oats gained 13.5 cents to $3.255 a bushel; January soybeans rose 19 cents to $12.515 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 1.48 cents to 94.77 cents a pound; January feeder cattle lost 2.62 cents to $1.0180 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.70 cent to 56.47 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.10 cents to 84.70 cents a pound.
